Momentary Good Times (single)

Soran presents Momentary Good Times, the second single from his new album slated for release in February 2026. In keeping with the creative cycle behind Loneliness Confetti (2024), Soran wanted to give himself the freedom to create and explore, to push the boundaries of what we consider pop music.

Momentary Good Times reveals a whole new side to the album. With this new song, we feel suspended in time and space, a tension between heaviness and weightlessness. Written under the gray skies of London, Momentary Good Times translates into music how Soran felt when he arrived in the city.

"I wanted this song to be about what it feels like to be a speck of dust in the universe," Soran explains. With a touch of melancholy, Momentary Good Times explores the fleeting nature of moments of joy, powerlessness in the face of volatility and transience, and the anxiety that everything can change in a fraction of a second.

Combining alt-indie, dream pop, and ambient sounds reminiscent of both Beach House and the Cocteau Twins, Momentary Good Times is rich in melodies, once again demonstrating Soran's virtuosity as a producer and singer-songwriter. Acclaimed by the international music community, Soran's raw talent and sense of aesthetics—both musically and visually—make him a well-rounded and accomplished artist who is always pushing the boundaries of his own art.

Beyond his own musical project, Soran is a prolific producer, writing and producing a lot of music for others, an integral part of his artistic approach. Over the past few years, he has collaborated on albums by Claudia Bouvette, Fouki, Zach Zoya, and Geoffroy in Quebec, as well as with big names on the Canadian and international scenes, including Alessia Cara, Johnny Orlando, Henri PFR (Brussels), Audrey Mika (Los Angeles), and Georgio (Paris).

Momentary Good Times follows 555, a dance-oriented first single released last October. Soran's third album, from which both songs are taken, will be released in February 2026.
